Who We Are

Every Financial Solution (EFS) is a professional financial services firm providing accounting, tax compliance, investment tracking, and personal finance management services to individuals and businesses primarily based in Pakistan.

We operate the EFS Financial Operating System (EFS OS) at everyfinancialsolution.com, which consists of five integrated portals:

• Money Manager — Personal Finance OS
• Accounting Portal — Business Finance OS
• PSX Platform — Investment Intelligence
• Tax Portal — Compliance System
• Analytics — Unified Financial Intelligence

For the purposes of this policy, "EFS", "we", "us", or "our" refers to Every Financial Solution and its team. "You" refers to any individual or business using our website, portals, or services.

Data We Collect

We collect three categories of data depending on which EFS portals and services you use:

We do not collect biometric data, government ID numbers beyond NTN/STRN for tax services, or any sensitive personal data beyond what is strictly necessary for financial services delivery.

How We Use Your Data

We use your data exclusively for the following purposes:

1. Service delivery — To provide the accounting, tax filing, portfolio tracking, and personal finance services you have engaged EFS for.
2. Financial reporting — To prepare P&L statements, Balance Sheets, Cash Flow statements, and other financial reports on your behalf.
3. Tax compliance — To prepare and file your tax returns with FBR, SRB, PRA, KPRA, or other applicable revenue authorities.
4. EFS Insights Engine — To generate cross-portal financial intelligence (e.g. linking capital gains from PSX to your tax portal). See Section 6 for full details.
5. Platform operation — To authenticate your login, maintain your session, and display your financial data in the correct portal.
6. Communication — To send you deadline reminders, filing confirmations, and service updates. We do not send unsolicited marketing.
7. Security — To detect and prevent unauthorised access to your financial data.

Data Storage & Security

Current storage method (2025–2026): EFS OS currently stores client data in browser localStorage — a private storage area within your own web browser. This means your data resides on your own device and is not transmitted to external servers except where you explicitly use features that require it (such as Google Sign-In).

Implications of localStorage storage:

• Your data does not leave your device during normal portal use
• Clearing your browser data or using a different device will not show your data
• EFS team accesses your data through the admin panel on your account, not through a server database
• Data is stored under your email address as a namespace key

Upcoming migration (Supabase): EFS is migrating to Supabase (a secure PostgreSQL database) to enable cross-device access. When this migration occurs, your data will be stored on Supabase's servers in accordance with their privacy and security standards. We will notify all clients before this migration takes place.

Document storage: Documents you upload (bank statements, invoices, challans) are currently handled via email/WhatsApp communication with the EFS team. Future versions will store documents in Supabase Storage.

Portal Data Separation

EFS OS is built on a strict data separation principle. Each portal maintains completely independent data — your personal financial data in Money Manager is never mixed with your business accounting data, and neither is directly accessible from the PSX or Tax portals.

These data namespaces are never directly joined or cross-referenced. The only connection between portals is the EFS Insights Engine, which operates on processed summaries — not raw financial data. See Section 6.

EFS Insights Engine

The EFS Insights Engine is the intelligence layer connecting all five portals. It operates on a strict principle: raw financial data never crosses portal boundaries. Only processed, human-readable insight messages are shared across portals.

The Insights Engine works as follows:

1. An event occurs in one portal (e.g. a transaction categorised as "owner withdrawal" in Money Manager)
2. The engine calculates a summarised insight message (e.g. "Owner withdrawals PKR 250,000 this month")
3. This message is stored in a shared insights table tagged with your user ID, source portal, and target portal
4. The target portal (Accounting) reads only the insight message — not the underlying transactions

Insight data stored includes: message text, severity level (info/warning/alert), source portal, target portal, date created, and an optional amount figure. No transaction-level detail crosses portals.

You may request deletion of all stored insights at any time by contacting EFS.

Data Sharing & Disclosure

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal or financial data to any third party under any circumstances.

We may share your data in the following limited and necessary circumstances:

• Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) — When filing your tax returns, we submit required financial information to FBR's IRIS portal on your behalf and with your explicit instruction.
• Provincial revenue authorities — SRB, PRA, KPRA, or BRA filings as applicable to your business jurisdiction.
• Your own authorised representatives — If you grant access to another person (e.g. a CFO or accountant), they can view your data within the portal.
• Legal obligation — If required by a valid court order, government directive, or applicable law in Pakistan.
• Google Sign-In — If you use Google SSO to log in, Google receives confirmation of authentication. We receive only your name and email from Google. We do not share your financial data with Google.

In all cases above, we share only the minimum data required and only for the stated purpose.

No Advertising — Ever

EFS generates revenue exclusively through service fees paid by clients for accounting, tax, and financial advisory services. Our business model does not depend on advertising, and your data is never used for commercial purposes beyond delivering the services you pay for.

We do not use tracking pixels, ad networks, Facebook Pixel, Google Ads conversion tracking, or any advertising technology on our portals.

Security

We take reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your financial data from unauthorised access, disclosure, or loss:

• Password hashing — Passwords are hashed before storage and are never stored in plain text
• Session management — Login sessions expire and require re-authentication
• Admin access controls — EFS team members access client data only through authenticated admin sessions
• HTTPS — All data transmitted to and from everyfinancialsolution.com is encrypted in transit via HTTPS
• Data namespace isolation — Each client's data is stored under their email-based namespace, preventing cross-client access

No security system is perfect. In the event of a data breach that poses significant risk to your rights or financial interests, we will notify you without undue delay and take immediate steps to contain the incident.

You are responsible for keeping your login credentials confidential. Do not share your password with anyone, including EFS team members who will never ask for your password.

Your Rights

You have the following rights regarding your personal and financial data held by EFS:

• Right to access — Request a copy of all data EFS holds about you
• Right to correction — Request correction of inaccurate data
• Right to deletion — Request deletion of your data, subject to legal retention requirements (we must retain tax-related data for 7 years per Pakistani law)
• Right to data portability — Request your financial data in a machine-readable format (CSV/JSON)
• Right to withdraw consent — Withdraw consent for any data processing at any time by notifying us
• Right to restrict processing — Request that we limit how we use your data while a query is being investigated

Cookies & Browser Storage

EFS portals use browser localStorage (not traditional cookies) to store your session information and financial data on your own device. This storage is under your full control and can be cleared at any time through your browser settings.

We may use minimal essential cookies for:

• Maintaining your login session across page loads
• Remembering your UI preferences (such as selected period or currency)
• Google Sign-In authentication flow (Google sets its own cookies for this)

We do not use tracking cookies, analytics cookies (e.g. Google Analytics), advertising cookies, or any cookies that monitor your behaviour across other websites.

You can delete all EFS data from your browser by clearing your localStorage in browser settings (Settings → Privacy → Clear browsing data → Cached files and cookies).

Third-Party Services

EFS uses the following third-party services to operate our platform. Each is listed with what data they receive:

Children's Privacy

EFS services are intended for adults (18 years and older) and for businesses. We do not knowingly collect personal data from individuals under the age of 18.

If you believe a person under 18 has provided us with their personal data, please contact us immediately and we will delete that information.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our services, technology, or legal obligations. When we make material changes, we will:

• Update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page
• Notify active clients by email or WhatsApp message
• Post a notice on the EFS homepage for a period of 30 days

Continued use of EFS portals after the effective date of a revised policy constitutes your acceptance of the changes. If you do not agree to material changes, you may request deletion of your account and data.
